Next to your tree, your family gets a private place for its stories: voice recordings, videos, written memories and the old photographs that go with them. Each time we lose someone from the older generation, their stories go with them. Record them while you can.
Voice and video
Record on a phone or computer, or upload recordings you already have. Part of the Family plan.
Old photographs
Tap a face to say who it is, and add when and where it was taken. We remove the hidden location data that phones add to photos.
Questions for the family
Ask the family one question. Relatives in Durban, London or Sydney answer from their phones. Part of the Family plan.
A keepsake book
Every story and photo laid out as a book you can print or save as a PDF. Part of the Family plan.
Private to the family
Only the people in your family can see its stories, once they sign in. Nothing is public.
The speaker says yes first
Before a recording is saved, you confirm that everyone speaking agreed. Anyone can ask for their story to come down at any time.
What it costs
Written stories, up to 100 photos and the timeline are free. The Family plan is R199 a year for the whole family. It adds voice and video, questions, the keepsake book, 1 GB of space and our certificate reader (20 pages a year).
Delete, for real
When you delete a story or photo, the file is removed from the server. It isn’t just hidden.
